I am a big podcast junkie, and I recently came across Me, Myself and AI, where the host interviews different leaders in AI. I especially enjoyed this episode Less Algorithm, More Application: Lyft’s Craig Martel. I also love that they include the episode transcript if you want to skip to the parts you’re most interested in.
I’m a fan of a few industry news aggregators - Insurance Thought Leadership is one of them. I appreciate not only the range of articles that are shared, but also ITL Editor-In-Chief Paul Carroll’s perspective on a hot topic - today it’s his thoughts on what we can all learn from the recent announcements by General Electric and Johnson & Johnson.
Stephen Applebaum’s daily Connected newsletter is also filled with great content, focused on the Property & Casualty insurance segment.
Currently re-reading The Myth of Artificial Intelligence by Erik. J. Larson. It’s a great read and helps me get past some of the hype surrounding AI. It’s help me explain to clients and prospective clients what AI is an isn’t. It left me thinking that even calling it “artificial intelligence” leads so misunderstandings.
Wow! nice to see such strong levels of interest around AI. Thanks for some of the pointers. I do follow Connected…I avoid reading too much around AI as it feels like I haven’t disconnected from work at all!! )

I’ve been trying to catch up with my reading habit . One of the practices I’ve started following is to read two to three pages daily, whether it’s something on LinkedIn or the morning watch to start my day.
